The Mandalorian war has gotten out of control the republic is being beaten back badly and the Jedi High Council has decided that it was the Dantooine Council who should take point on the war as it is closer to the outer rims and area affected by battle. However after the apparent failure of Jedi Council on Taris. (Jedi Masters killing their own padawans to prevent them from joining the dark side) They decided to wait until the true enemy (which are not the mandalorians) reveals themselves.

The Jedi Shadow Council consisting of the Grand Master, Master of the Order and Caretaker of First Knowledge decided to enact the Shadow protocol after seeing a presumable extinct Jedi sect (the Jedi Covenant) being behind the massacre on Taris. This has caused Jedi Shadows to mobilize and lead whomever wishes to protect the republic. With the aid of several rouge Jedi such as my friends Meetra and Alek the Revanchists were born, with me Revan as their leader. This mission 'Mission Revan' (named after my new identity as a Jedi guardian instead of a sentinel and shadow), was created to end the Mandalorian threat and identify the cause behind the invasion and to neutralize or discover any future threats. However that has brought me between a rock and a hard place as I would need to be far away from Bastila for a long time to truly protect her. My daughter in all but blood… So I became Revan.
